The screen adaptation of the best-selling memoir, The Salt Path, by Raynor Winn, starring Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs, directed by Marianne Elliott, is being released on 30th May 2025.
Set against the stunning landscapes of the South West Coast Path, the film beautifully captures the rawness of nature, the challenges of the journey, and the profound connection between people and the natural world. It’s a poignant exploration of survival, hope, and the power of the human spirit when faced with adversity.
The Salt Path is the name given by Raynor Winn to her and husband Moth’s journey along the South West Coast Path – Britain’s longest National Trail, and England’s original coast path.
