History
Trelawney, Porthtowan, Cornwall
2021 to date…
We bought our lovely holiday home, Trelawney, in February 2021, and fully redecorated it just in time for the spring/summer holiday season. After a very successful first year with Aspects Holidays managing our bookings, we haven’t looked back. We are now celebrating 5 years of owning this modern eco-style home on the Cornish north coast and about to start promoting our 6th holiday season!
In Spring 2022 we opened our newly landscaped secluded woodland garden with floating deck with large seating area. Plus added a brand new 4 person hot tub.
In Winter 2026, the exceedingly tall Monterey cypress trees were sadly removed for safety reasons and a new tranquil terraced garden emerged for our guests to enjoy.
The Space
There are 3 good sized bedrooms, with plenty of space for 6 people in the house, outside around the table on the front decking or out the back in the tranquil terraced garden! There’s room for 4 in the hot tub!

Information
The House
The house is timber framed with cedar wood on the outer walls, and a curved green sedum roof.
The Downstairs is very spacious and mainly open plan, including:
- Entrance Hall: patio doors lead you into the downstairs area with useful coat and shoe rack to the left and handy bench to sit on to the right
- Main Living/Seating Area to the front: has two large sofas, TV and coffee table, with patio doors to the front decking and outside seating area
- Smaller Seating Area to the rear: with two accent chairs and side table, door to the rear patio and stairs leading to all the bedrooms on the first floor.
- Dining Area: has a large extendable dining table and six chairs.
- Kitchen: the separate kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer.
- Cloakroom: WC and basin.
The Upstairs, includes:
- Bedroom 1: king size double bed, TV, door to balcony with small seating area, ensuite with shower cubicle, WC and basin.
- Bedroom 2: double bed.
- Bedroom 3: twin beds.
- Bathroom: bath with shower over, WC and basin.
The outside includes three separate areas:
- Decking to the front: with table and seating for six
- Patio area to the back: with brand new, private, luxurious hot tub plus small seating area
- Tranquil terraced garden with large floating deck seating area!

We Have Availability!
We still have some spaces, but mainly for the quiet, out of season dates that allow you to explore Cornwall without the crowds. September to May is the best time to visit Trelawney in our opinion!
